And so it begins.

  • Day 1 of prototyping on this behemoth of a task I decided to undertake. Made a lot of progress in building a prototype/proof of concept of the initial idea.
  • Modelled the first arena.
  • Set up two Cinemachine virtual cameras: one for following the player in an isometric view, the second which is activated when a button is held for aiming at the boss.
  • Repurposed the projectile script from my earlier game to be part of this experience.

Next:

- Adding pick-up game mechanic, for different settings and projectiles of the weapon.

- Implementing life  indicators for the player and the boss.

- Start shaping up the first arena (lvl1). Adding obstacles, moving platforms etc.

- Adding a timer.

- Start working on character model and boss model.

( P.S.; I would really love to hire a programmer for obvious reasons and a concept artist for world building. Solo dev journeys are perilous.)
