This type of marketing provides affiliates with unique access to the products and incentivises them to advertise it for a commission or flat fee depending on the agreement between affiliate and business.

Audience:
Affiliates/Influencers have their own established audiences and platform online, such as blogs, websites. On these platforms the business can reach a wide audience and target potential customers directly who might fit in their audience.

Cost:
Affiliate marketing can be very cost effective, since in most cases it don't incur up-front costs. Affiliates would get paid when they generate sale.

Example of Affiliate Marketing:
An example of affiliate marketing in action is the Amazon Associates program. As one of the largest e-commerce companies in the world, Amazon has a vast selection of products for affiliates to promote. Affiliates can create links to specific products or categories on Amazon and earn a commission on any purchases made through those links.

To participate in the Amazon Associates program, affiliates must have a website, blog, or other online platform where they can promote products. Once approved for the program, affiliates can access a wide range of tools and resources to help them promote Amazon products, including banners, text links, and widgets.
